Gowling WLG welcomes IP partner to Munich office


Gowling WLG has hired Thomas Mayer as partner in its Munich office.

Mayer’s primary focus is on patent litigation across a broad range of technologies, with particular experience handling cases involving employee interventions.

He joins from Maiwald in Munich, where he served as an intellectual property partney and one of the firm’s managing directors.

Commenting on his appointment, Mayer said: "I am very much looking forward to joining Gowling WLG's award-winning IP team. I am committed to further developing the IP practice in Munich, to strengthening our existing client relationships, winning new clients, and providing them with outstanding service."
