Duane Morris bolsters IP practice

Pierre Hubert has joined Duane Morris as partner in its intellectual property practice group.

Hubert will be based in Texas and focus intellectual property litigation, including patent infringement matters in electrical and computer-related technology.

He has experience before federal district courts, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, the US International Trade Commission and the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Duane Morris’s Texas office was opened in October 2017 with the appointment of IP partner Bert Greene.

Commenting on Hubert’s new role, Matthew Taylor, chairman and CEO of Duane Morris, said: “When we opened our Austin office in October, we set a goal to expand quickly with additional top-notch attorneys.”

He added that Hubert and his colleagues “more than fit that requirement and will be a great asset to our clients in Texas and throughout the country”.
