Fletcher will work in the firm’s Pittsburgh office and serve as a litigator and counselor for his clients, advising them on business and intellectual property disputes.
He has experience in patent and trade secrets disputes, breach of contract and fiduciary duty issues and more.
Fletcher joins from Pepper Hamilton where he led the firm’s litigation practice and served as vice chair of its international and domestic arbitration practice group.
Alan Hoffman, Blank Rome’s chairman and managing partner, commented: “We are very excited to welcome Andrew Fletcher to Blank Rome.”
Hoffman said: “Beyond his significant trial experience, [his] understanding of the unique issues that oil and gas companies face in Pennsylvania, particularly contract and intellectual property disputes relating to drilling and other aspects of the industry, will complement our energy industry team.”
“In addition, [his] experience as lead counsel in international and US arbitrations will be a tremendous value-add to clients across a number of our practices.”
