Stroock promotes IP partner

Stroock & Stroock & Lavan has promoted intellectual property attorney Jason Sobel to partner.

Sobel practices in the firm’s New York office and works with companies on a wide range of issues in various industries, including financial services, software, mechanical and electrical devices, and food products.

He covers patents, trademarks, copyright, trade secret, unfair competition and breach of contract litigation.

Sobel’s promotion comes as part of a round of 11 partner and special counsel promotions across the firm’s New York, Los Angeles and Miami offices.

Jeffrey Keitelman, co-managing partner at Stroock, commented: ”The 2018 class represents a good snapshot of our key strengths and demonstrates the breadth of solutions we provide for our sophisticated clients.”

“Each of these lawyers has achieved this much deserved promotion through their dedication to deliver innovative, business-oriented advice to our clients, and helping to grow their respective groups. They represent a bright future for our firm.”
