Blank Rome adds experienced patent litigators

Blank Rome has added two new lawyers to its Houston office.

Jonathan Harris and David Wilson have joined the firm’s intellectual property and technology group as partner and of counsel.

Both previously worked at Conley Rose as principal.

Harris’s practice focuses on helping companies manage their patent portfolios in the high tech, software and medical device sectors.

He is experienced in patent prosecution and litigation, as well as licensing and patent review processes.

Wilson is also a patent attorney, focusing in software, telecomms and semiconductors.

He represents clients in patent disputes and invalidity cases internationally.

Keith Rutherford, co-chair of Blank Rome’s IP and technology group, said: “Jonathan Harris and David Wilson are accomplished attorneys and excellent additions, especially as we continue to see adversarial patent proceedings and inter partes review cases increase in the region.”

“They have extensive experience representing Fortune 500 companies in technical fields before the US Patent and Trademark Office, which will greatly benefit our clients in this space.”
